I provide a range of editorial services:

  • copy-editing
  • proofreading and proof collation (including PDF markup)
  • website editing and proofreading

I work on screen or on paper for both editing and proofreading. For website editing I use a word processor, HTML text editor or the client’s content management system as required. I am experienced in a wide range of subjects.

I generally work direct for the publisher/client, and liaise with authors by email or phone to resolve queries that arise in the editing process. For some authors’ comments, please see the blurb.

rates

My rates are based on SfEP recommendations. I am happy to agree a fee per job, an hourly rate or a rate per 1,000 words. All enquiries are treated with discretion.
