I generally work direct for the publisher/client, and liaise with authors by email or phone to resolve queries that arise in the editing process.
Rates
My fees depend on the complexity of the job in hand and the degree of intervention required. On receipt of a sample of the text I am happy to agree a fee per job, an hourly rate or a rate per 1,000 words. All enquiries are treated with discretion.
